Math - worksheets (homework & remembering) ******Please check to make sure your child has completed the IXL assignments previous assigned (A.1 - A.4, B.1-B.2, B.4-B.5, C.1-C.4) continue to use at home as a resource for additional math practice.
 

November reading logs  

Spelling - sh / ch

Fry words for November - continue to review/practice "ONE BREATH BOXES" words 1-100 until Thanksgiving.

Lexia - (continue to practice at home) This is a computerized reading/phonics practice for your child. The more they practice the more they will get out of it. Use it as much as you like at home. Students will also be using it about 60 minutes a week at school. Daily 5/reading -

Mini lessons - summarizing, tune into interesting words (in guided reading and whole group read alouds)

• Read to self - reading books at correct level
• word work - (short vowel review, intro to digraphs - ch / sh) & Fry words to 100 / Lexia practice)
• work on writing - journaling short sentences, lists using diagraphs ch / sh words,
• read to someone (building stamina, sitting EEKK, how to talk about books with a partner) reading One Breath Boxes to partners
• mini lessons on short vowels, diagraph - sh / ch
• Guided reading groups - assessments (Star testing and /or Running records)  

Math -  Unit 2 - visualizing subtraction (review/test)

Language/Writing - 6 traits  continued - Organization

Spelling - diagraphs

Religion - Jesus helps those in need  (review/test)

Science - Living /non living

Social Studies - Timelines / Thanksgiving projects
