Remember - Thursday & Friday are 1/2 days this week! And Easter break starts next week with a 1/2 day on Thursday 4/17!!!!


Classroom needs -

• egg cartons (cardboard)
• wet ones (for hands)
• Individually wrapped snacks (to keep on hand if a child forgets a snack)
• glue sticks - only a handful left in the classroom
• Easter candy (individually wrapped) *nut free*

Long vowel word packet - read & practice for fluency

 

Daily 5/reading - We're building a rainforest in our class for the next month! Much of our reading and writing will be tied into this theme! The kids have been enjoying the transformation and we are learning all sorts of new things.

Mini lesson - Opinion writing (final drafts)

Mini lesson - long vowels, blends with short & long vowels, working on fluency skills (phonics work)

Mini lesson - tune into interesting words
