Weekly Update

Happy Homecoming Week!!!!!!!!!

Its going to be a REALLY busy week here @ SJCA. For this week's update I am just going to highlight the important events happening. The kids are going to be doing lots of fun stuff!

TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

CURRICULUM NIGHT— Tuesday September 20th - The SJCA Teachers will be here to give curriculum/grade level presentations to parents. Each teacher will provide two presentations that evening. Parents only need to attend one per teacher.This will allow families with multiple students to attend more than one presentation for their children. The specials teachers will also be available in the computer lab to meet with parents. Below is a list of times for each session. Please plan to attend one of the scheduled presentations in your child’s classroom and you may visit the computer lab during the other time.

6:30—6:50—presentations in classrooms & computer lab

6:55—7:15—presentations in classroom & computer lab

(Parents only need to attend one presentation per teacher)

Parking is available in both the front and back of the building. Since this is a time for dialog between teachers and parents we ask that students and siblings not join their parents. Child care will be provided in the before and after care room if you cannot make other arrangements for your children. Please RSVP to the main office if you will need this service so we can plan on enough supervision for the children.

UPDATED HOMECOMING SCHEDULE

Monday- Stuffed Animal Day- your child is allowed to bring their favorite stuffed animal!!

Tuesday- Crazy Hat Day- your child can wear or make up the craziest hat!! ($1.00 coupon for Heavenly Hats)

Wednesday- Spirit Day- Have them wear their school colors, blue and gold!!

Thursday-Sports Wear Day!! - Favorite sports top with uniform bottoms!

Friday- Homecoming Picnic 10:00 to 1:30 at Lincoln Park!! Help us make this day as memorable as we can!! We can only do this with Parent help!!

Class Color Day- K=Red, 1=Orange, 2=Yellow, 3=Green, 4=Light Blue, 5=Royal Blue

and if this isn't enough....we also have the Kenosha Fire House visiting us on Wednesday. Officer Friendly is visiting for his safety patrol presentation and the Lancer cheerleaders will lead a pep assembly on Thursday!

5:00 p.m. Tailgate @ Ameche Field (Donations Appreciated)

7:00 p.m. SJCA Varsity Football Game @ Ameche Field
