week 15

Coming up -

*****Christmas concert is Wednesday evening. Plan to drop off your child in the classroom around 6:15. Dress in holiday attire (no jeans please)! Concert is taking place @ St. Mark church @ 6:30 pm.***** ALL children are expected to attend.*****

Next week I will be out Wed afternoon, Thursday, Friday. My son Charlie will be having a second surgery on Thursday to close his pallet. Mrs. Mary Berry will be in for me on those days.

Spelling - th/wh/ch/sh words (review of digraphs)

New list of Fry Words - (101-200)  Practice for fluency. They can also be spelled if your child has mastered fluency.

Lexia - (continue to practice at home) This is a computerized reading/phonics practice for your child. The more they practice the more they will get out of it. Use it as much as you like at home. Students will also be using it about 60 minutes a week at school.     • beginning to write thoughts on post-it notes to track our thinking while we read

Language/Writing - 6 traits  continued - sentences - working on different beginnings of sentences, building sentences of different lengths. Sentences & fragments.
