Homework - 

Math - n/a this week, students can practice additional skills in IXL if they would like.
 

December reading logs - last call for November....Pizza certificates will come home tomorrow for those who have turned it in. 

Spelling - th/wh words

New list of Fry Words - the next set of words (101-200) went home today. Practice for fluency. They can also be spelled if your child has mastered fluency.

Lexia - (continue to practice at home) This is a computerized reading/phonics practice for your child. The more they practice the more they will get out of it. Use it as much as you like at home. Students will also be using it about 60 minutes a week at school. Make sure you log into the Core 5 @ http://www.lexiacore5.com/ see http://www.lexialearning.com/product/core5/ for details about the program.

December book orders - book orders went home today. All orders need to be returned or submitted online by next Monday. I will process the order right after school. Please let me know if any book are a gift for your child!

Math -  Unit 3 - unknown numbers in addition & subtraction

Language/Writing - 6 traits  continued - sentences - working on different beginnings of sentences, building sentences of different lengths. Sentences & fragments.

Spelling - diagraphs (th/wh practice in class)

Religion - advent

Science - Living /non living

Social Studies - Vocabulary preview for Unit 2, 2nd step lesson (looking for clues/observing the feelings of others, mini lesson on holidays of the world (the next 2 weeks)
