Week 17

We've had a lot sickness in school lately. Please review healthy hand washing procedures with your children. Encourage them to keep hands and clothing out of their mouths too! The cleaner & healthier we can be the better!

Remember - Thursday is a 1/2 day of school this week and no school on Monday.

Classroom needs -
  • Glue sticks!!!! Most children need their glue sticks replenished. Please send in a few packs for your child when we you can.
  • Lysol disinfectant spay - to use on soft surfaces in the classroom like our carpets & beanbags
  • wet ones

New list of Fry Words - (101-200)  Practice for fluency. They can also be spelled if your child has mastered fluency.

Lexia - (continue to practice at home) This is a computerized reading/phonics practice for your child. The more they practice the more they will get out of it. Use it as much as you like at home. Students will also be using it about 60 minutes a week at school. Writing - creative writing project using the story Snowmen at Night

Math -  Unit 4 - place value concepts/ten grouping

Religion - we belong to a parish
