• retreat day - Wednesday afternoon

• J - term begins for the lower campus

Remember to pack winter gear for your child each day. They need to be dressed appropriately for snow play to participate and enjoy recess everyday! Don't forget snow pants,  boots, hats, mittens, scarves, etc. Your child can keep snow pants and boots at school if that is easier fore you.
Homework -

• Lexia should also be practiced at home for a minimum of 20 minutes per week. They can practice daily if they want but no more than 20 minutes per day is necessary.
• Reading - practice reading small readers/paper stories & record on the reading log. Please keep the list in your child's folder so I can track their progress and send home the appropriate stories each night.

• Running Records - reading level assessments
• word sorts blends/digraphs (sh/th)
• small groups - guided reading
• identifying the characters, setting, & events in stories  
• writing - journal writing, practicing how to label a picture

Math -

• numbers 0-20
• visualizing 10 groups in teen numbers
• making teen numbers
• addition/subtraction practice
• building shapes with rectangles

Religion -

• Mary as the mother of Jesus
• Jesus as the son of God
