Reminders for the week -
Homework -- Our Valentine's Day party is coming up this week on Friday! Please send in cards with your child by Friday. There is a list of the children's names in the Bee Books if you need it.
- Please finish up the homework assignment sent last week if you haven't already done so. We'll be sharing about our holidays on Friday.
- Lexia - keep up the great practice! The students are really excelling at their skills with all the practice they are completing.
- Reading - please keep practicing the small readers/paper stories & sign the reading log. Please keep the list in your child's folder so I can track their progress and send home the appropriate stories each night.
- Guided reading in small groups
- word sorts - short vowel words/word families
- exploring nonfiction information texts
- making connections, cause & effect relationships
- writing - journal writing, winter writing, holiday writing
- addition & subtraction stories (acting out math stories)
- working with 5 groups, seeing 10's in teen numbers
- recognizing partners in numbers 5-10
Religion, science, & social studies will resume this week.
