This week we are saying goodbye to March....hoping that April will bring us some spring weather! We've been counting up "Lion and Lamb" days for the month of March. It seems like there have been an abundance of days that feel like a "lion"! We will be graphing our results on Friday.
Conference times came home today in the folders. I am looking forward to meeting with everyone next week!

- Look for new readers to come home tomorrow. Please notice that these readers are a "new" level for all the children. Some of the words may be more challenging for them as we start off.
- I am very proud that all the children showed improvement in their reading levels! I am looking forward to sharing all their improvements with you during conferences next week.
Math:

- Students can practice time on IXL in the pre-K or K levels

- Students will begin to practice addition on IXL...they can also do this at home.
- This week we will be writing about weather

Social Studies:
- We are creating books to represent each student's "world". We'll start with "me" and then move to my family, my home, my school, my neighborhood, my city, my state, my country, my continent, my world.
- Today we worked on the next two pages of our book (my home and my school)
Religion:
- We'll be reviewing our Lenten promises this week
- We will attend the Stations on Friday
- Next, we will start to look at Holy week
*********Volunteers ARE STILL needed starting April.....we will be having 3 special Sciences days coming up with Mrs. Chris (Peter's mom). She and a handful of her Carthage students are coming to do some fun experiments with the kids. We will need a few extra sets of hands for the experiments. The dates are April 5th, 12th, & 19th from 12:30 - 2:00. Please let me know if you are interested in joining us!********
