Happy Thanksgiving!

We're already 1/2 way through our sort week. The kids are already REALLY excited about the upcoming holiday and their 5 days off!!!!!!!!!!

Last week we voted and our class's official favorite Thanksgiving food is - Pumpkin Pie!!!!!

We have a special Thanksgiving mass tomorrow - the children are invited to bring a canned/boxed food item as a donation during the mass. If you have an extra can or two, please send them with your child tomorrow. Food will go to a local food pantry to help feed needy families.

Today we had a normal day. The kids had art this morning. In the afternoon they had music practice with the other kindergarten class. This was the first of many joint classes as they begin their preparations for the Christmas concert (Dec. 6 @ 6pm).

We also shared a few Thanksgiving stories, worked on math, and read and assemble a little book about the first Thanksgiving.

Tomorrow we have another music practice and our Thanksgiving mass in the morning. We'll be doing some Thanksgiving themed centers throughout the day tomorrow. In the afternoon we'll play bingo and enjoy a Thanksgiving movie and popcorn :)

Please remember that the Thanksgiving play has been cancelled for this year. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will be working a different activity for the kids to participate in later this year.
