Reading/Daily 5  - Mini lessons on long vowel e (in word work & with smart board lessons) Dibbles testing/running records this week takes the place of guided reading. 

Math- Unit 7 time, shapes, equal parts, 3D shapes (continued)

Language Arts - Introduction to opinion writing (fact vs fiction), pre-write opinion writing 

Social Studies -  presenting timelines 

Religion - Pentecost, Jesus & the Holy Spirit  

Technology - ABCYA - word cloud

social skills - working on treating all students & adults with respect & kindness...practice using our "social smarts".

Homework - math packet, spelling practice, new word list (Fry words 201-300), bring in a collection to write about for opinion writing (see note in homework folder)

Coming up this week - 
Thursday - Jeans with spirit wear tops (for $1) all remaining Fridays will include $1 jean pass. Money collected goes toward the school iPad fund.
Thursday - school party/fundraiser @ skatetown 
Friday - No school

Please return all zoo field trip slips/money this week. Chaperones will carry their own payments and pay at the gate.
