Week 20

Coming up this week....

• Keep sending in your change for Pennies for Patients. At the start of this week our class is IN FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!! If we can keep it up we win the Olive Garden Pasta Party!!!!!!!!!
• Last call for book orders...I'll be processing the order on Wednesday after school.
•  Thursday is a 1/2 day of school
• Thursday & Friday Mrs. Smither & I will be out of the building. We are looking forward to attending the Wisconsin reading conference for 2 days.

Looking ahead - Next week we will exchange Valentine's with our class on February 14th. See the top of the page here for a class list.

 

Classroom needs -

• Lysol disinfectant spay - to use on soft surfaces in the classroom like our carpets & beanbags
• wet ones
• Individually wrapped snacks (to keep on hand if a child forgets a snack)

Short vowel word packet - read & practice for fluency

Lexia - (continue to practice at home) This is a computerized reading/phonics practice for your child. The more they practice the more they will get out of it. Use it as much as you like at home. Students will also be using it about 60 minutes a week at school.
