*If you haven't returned your child's bowling permission slip for our trip next week...I will be sending home another copy in the Wednesday fold. Please return ASAP!

This morning the students had an assembly with some specials guests. The Pennies For Patients team was here to launch the fundraiser for our school. The kids got to hear about this special program and there was a family with us who was also kind enough to share their personal story. Look for more information to come home on Wednesday or click here for more info.

This week ~ look for progress reports to come home in the Wednesday folders. They will be in the same yellow envelope that was used for report cards. The progress report is your to keep along with the work samples and assessments that go with the report. The yellow envelope can be returned to school in your child's folder. Please contact me with any questions or concerns about your child's progress.

This week I will be assessing the students and their reading levels with another series of running records. I am looking forward to seeing their growth and progress. This means I will be taking the students for their assessments durning guided reading time...so there will not be new books coming home this week.
