Weekly Update #6

Here's what is happening this week -

Coming up this week - Homecoming Activities

• Wednesday: K-12 mass at 8:30.  Students can wear SJCA spirit wear tops & uniform bottoms
• Thursday: Pep Assembly & student staff volleyball. Students can wear sports team tops & uniform bottoms.
• Friday picnic at Lincoln Park. Wear new spirit wear tops & any bottoms. Dress for the weather we'll be outside all day! Lunch will be provided.   

Literacy (reading & writing) -

• we are wrapping up our first unit that focused on rhyming words & poetry
• continued practice with letter sounds
• shared/group writing

Math -

• counting objects in groups
• comparing numbers through 10
• number writing, practice correct formation of numbers 1-5
• review of unit 1

Religion -

•  God created land & animals

Handwriting -

• strait line letters (Ll, Ii)
