- Picture re-takes tomorrow.
- This is Red Ribbon Week - Student's can wear red tops on Wednesday with uniform bottoms.
- PB&J collection continues throughout the month.
Next week -
- All Saints Mass on Wednesday. Students have the option of dressing as a Saint for the mass.
- Friday (10/31) classroom halloween party & trunk-or-treat. Students can wear jeans with black/orange tops to school. Students can change into costumes in the afternoon.
Homework -
- Students brought home their homework assignments today. Included is one page of math and a writing prompt. Homework will be given on Monday & returned on Friday.
- practice "One Breath Boxes"
- Lexia should also be practiced at home for a minimum of 20 minutes per week. They can practice daily if they want but no more than 20 minutes per day is necessary.
- Reading - reading daily at home is important to your child's literacy development. They can read on their own or listen to someone read. The more they are exposed to the better!
- In the student "Bee Books" I sent home the October Book-it form. Students that complete the majority of the calendar and return it to school will earn a coupon for a free pizza. Any reading at home can count. Including listening to stories or working on reading skills in Lexia! Let me know if you have any questions.
- glass jars with lids (spaghetti sauce size or larger) for a science project We'll be making our science project on Thursday & we could use a few more jars.
