Reminders for the week -

• New permission slips due for Pringle Nature Center (Blue form sent home in the Bee Books Wednesday.
• Easter raffle tickets (for the India school fundraiser) - tickets are $.25 each 
• Please send in plastic Easter eggs for our egg hunt (20+ eggs per student) 
• Easter bunny breakfast on Saturday morning 

Homework -

• Keep up the great work with the nightly reading practice. The kids are doing a great job practicing at home and bringing their books back on a regular basis.

Literacy (reading & writing) -

• Guided reading in small groups / literacy assessments / other report card assessments 
• opinion writing 
• word sorts - sight word spelling and word building
• word work - learning about "r controlled words" (Car, far, star,) 
• exploring nonfiction information texts  
• retelling stories 
• writing - journal writing, opinion writing 

Math -

• addition & subtraction stories (acting out math stories) 
• finding unknown partners
• Characteristics of 3D shapes 
• building fluency in addition & subtraction 
• review for unit 4 & unit 4 test 

Religion -

• families & friends help us learn about God
